DEA registrants are required to ensure controlled substance disposal is handled in a fully compliant manner. Whether through returns, onsite destruction, or a DEA-approved disposal provider, the method has to be documented and defensible. Improper disposal of controlled drugs puts your license, your patients, and your community at risk. The SRB Program takes that responsibility off your plate.
Ships via USPS Priority Mail under full DEA authorization. Every step of the process meets federal controlled substance disposal requirements.
One price covers everything. No variable fees, no surprises on your invoice. You know exactly what you’re paying before you ship.
Official Records of Transfer issued for every disposal. Your DEA file is complete and ready if an inspector ever comes knocking.
Controlled substances are removed from circulation and destroyed. Our secure chain of custody ensures nothing is diverted at any point in the process.
We are a destruction-only reverse distributor. Nothing we receive is returned to commerce. Your meds are fully destroyed, full stop.
A prepaid USPS label is included with every order. Ship your box using your regular mail carrier with zero out-of-pocket shipping cost.
Real people, real answers. Our team is available via phone, email, or scheduled meeting to help with inventory questions, compliance, and inspections.
Serving DEA registrants in all 50 states via USPS Priority Mail. Wherever your facility is located, we can handle your disposal.
Confusion around documentation, not knowing how to get rid of controlled substances compliantly, per-item fees and upcharges, never getting a callback when you need one. That is exactly why we made SRB.
DEA documentation leaves most facilities guessing. Inspectors do not.
Every disposal comes with an official Record of Transfer. Keep it on file and you are covered.
Per-item fees and controlled substance upcharges make it impossible to budget. You just pay whatever arrives.
Flat-rate pricing. The price on the website is the price on your invoice, every single time.
Support that disappears after the sale is one of the most common complaints we hear.
Our team picks up the phone, answers emails, and will sit down with you whenever you need it.
When good meds go bad, we make controlled drug disposal simple, secure, and stress-free. No contracts, no minimums, no scheduling.

Have questions about your current inventory?
Send us your forms and we’ll guide you through next steps.
Yes. Here’s why, and what happens if you don’t comply.
Yes. The DEA and EPA both have enforcement authority over pharmaceutical waste. Facilities that improperly dispose of controlled substances can face fines, loss of DEA registration, and in serious cases, criminal liability. DEA inspections increasingly focus on disposal documentation, and facilities without DEA-compliant pharmaceutical disposal records are at the highest risk.
When using a DEA-authorized reverse distributor, the required documentation is a Record of Transfer. This is what the DEA requires registrants to maintain — it documents the transfer of controlled substances to the reverse distributor and is what you’ll need if you’re ever audited.
Yes. All CII–V controlled and non-controlled medications may be shipped together in the same box. Just keep them listed separately on the appropriate inventory forms. You do not need to physically separate them in the packaging.
Not for controlled substances. The DEA specifically prohibits flushing or trash disposal of Schedule II–V substances by DEA registrants. The safest approach for any licensed facility is authorized pharmaceutical waste destruction through a DEA-registered reverse distributor — a DEA-compliant pharmaceutical disposal service built specifically for this purpose.
No. Free account setup, no minimum volume, no contracts. You can order a single box and use the program quarterly, annually, or as needed. The flat-rate fee covers everything from the shipping label to DEA reporting.
